Me

I was born in Mooresville, North Carolina; although I grew up in Franklin, a small town in Southamton County Virginia. Ever since I was young I have loved to draw,  create cool things and what not. In seventh grade, at my school in Virginia, we had a career day project. I only had about 26 kids in my grade and I believe of the 26 i was the only person who had an art based career chosen. I had chosen to be an animator. To this day I still want to do this,  I have started taking art classes here at Washburn to try and get my self familiar with my right brain. I chose to take this class, Mass Media Boot Camp, honestly only because my brother said it was a good class. However, After only the first class I am already excited to be here, I look forward to learning more about what the course is about, and this class may help me if I become a graphic designer or I may find another passion through it, only time will tell. Why I came to Washburn itself is a different story. Now I don't know any of you and a lot of you would probably laugh at this. Originally I wanted to leave Kansas for school. I moved here four years ago after my father lost his job in Virginia, and I have believed my self to have been an unhappy person ever since I have lived here. However I have made friends here and people who I now know to be family that I really just don't want to leave, not even for a semester. I believe Washburn is there perfect medium, for me to remain close to friends and still pursue my dreams.
