Hello mass media boot camp class. My name is Conner Krueger. I grew up and have sadly lived in Topeka my whole life but have visited many different parts of the country and even outside of the country. I have family in Florida and Colorado so we get to travel there quite often and I have also been to Jamaica as a vacation trip. My hobbies include playing basketball and other sports, video editing and hanging out with my friends and family. I have a YouTube channel called 'NBA Reel' where I post some NBA basketball highlights. What made me want to study mass media is the fact that I am very interested in how the world communicates and distributes information from place to place. I feel like it can be a very useful thing to learn in this day and age. I came to Washburn because it was cheaper than most colleges and closer to home. Also it wasn't as big as other division 1 schools which I like because it is less intimidating and you get to know people better. All in all, I am a swell young man who just wants to live and learn each and everyday and strive to be the best student I can be.
